 I walked into his room to find him sleeping soundly on the motel's hard matress, exhausted from from the day's hunt. He looked so serene, all expression from his facegone. I smiled, for he's rarely happy lately, and for good reason. I walked up to him and brushed the hair away from his forehead, and kissed him gently, perching on the chair by the table.
